Snapshot Sundays this week has been hijacked by our Easter Surprise! We are giving away two Children’s Books!
Dog Mom wrote a book about my friend Harley and I talked her into (she might have been planning to anyway but I’ll take the credit) an Easter giveaway. I think the children’s book is a PAWfect addition to any hooman (or fur) Kid’s Easter Basket/library. I would yap all about it but I think it’s better if you hear it from unbiased sources….

Lola the Rescue Cat says, “For me, the message of the book was two-fold. The first being to promote animal adoption and to inform people that special needs pets needn’t be given up. But this book serves another important purpose in that it helps children with special needs learn to accept themselves and others.”

I’ve been reading some cozy mystery series about dogs that I’m enjoying right now.
These are all excellent books. I’ve read The Returns 1 and 2 and absolutely loved them! I love the idea of giving an Easter basket filled with books instead of chocolate, or heaven forbid a live bunny or chick!

These books sound wonderful! Children’s books that star a pet are such effective tools to help a child learn. Sometimes it is easier to understand life from a pet’s perspective! 🙂
